Riverside is a modern, well anchored open air scheme comprising over 272,348 sq ft of modern units and is the main fashion retail offer for Hemel Hempstead. The scheme is set out in three separate blocks, effectively forming two malls. The main mall links Hemel Hempstead’s main fashion anchors of Next, Primark and M&S with an expanded H&M flagship store and TK Maxx within Riverside.
The southern mall sits either side of the River Gade which provides an attractive environment and is occupied by operators such as Pizza Express and Starbucks. The scheme also boasts a 113 room Premier Inn hotel and an Anytime Fitness gym in the upper parts of the main block.
Riverside also has the benefit of a landlord controlled 350 space multi-storey car park.

Planning has recently been submitted for a comprehensive mixed-use redevelopment to provide 487 residential units across four blocks, flexible E class leisure/retail at ground floor and outdoor sports area /bar and cinema at rooftop level. The project has a Gross Development value in the region of £160 million.
